KKND: Xtreme is a revision of KKND: Krush, Kill 'n' Destroy released on October 14, 1997, about six months after the original release of KKND. Like the original, it was developed by Beam Software and published by Melbourne House in Australia, and by Electronic Arts internationally.

The game adds a skirmish mode in addition to multiplayer and the singleplayer campaigns, as well as technical fixes and AI improvements. KKND: Xtreme also includes two new campaigns for both Survivors and Evolved with ten mission each. The campaigns do not feature FMV cutscenes, and little overarching narrative.
