2Welcome Back Everyone to the ending of the final episode of Labyrinthine. In this last part, we finally retrieve the last lever part from behind a vault door that had a puzzle we needed to solve. As soon as we escaped the mine especially from the mining cart of death at the end, we reach the entrance to an ancient temple. We get to meet Joan who we have been following throughout the game through the notes she left. We fall into a trap door when a giant spider appears and we all get separated. We then have to find a set of skulls to put on an a shrine to open a door while not getting killed by that same spider. We then walk up the steps to an ancient altar where we are given the choice to sacrifice ourselves or one of our friends to "save" the world from the evil monsters and demons according to Joan since her family was the one who brough the curse upon everyone. By a twist of fate, we get a third option to sacrifice Joan who actually is possessed and a demon who wanted to unleash more monsters upon the world.
*Note: I edited a good chunk because we actually restarted a few times after losing all of our player lives and didn't realize that the skulls stay in your inventory even if you restart so we ran around for minutes confused as to why we couldn't find anymore.
