We have seen most Fixers rely on melee weapons or unarmed strikes to deal with things. Guns are highly regulated in this world. You must have certain licenses to make guns and ammunition (which is mostly isolated to a single organization). Furthermore, regulations restrict what can be done with a gun. Silencers, projectile velocity, and piercing capability are all things that are regulated and restricted.

Oh and they make ammo extremely expensive.

Ranged attacks are limited to certain Key Pages and all ranged attacks so far are removed from the deck after use (effectively running out of ammo when the deck is empty). The advantages are ranged attacks strike first against melee no matter the speed roll.
