0Hey everyone, it's Napoleon! In this playthrough of Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 1, titled “Awake,” we join Chloe Price in the early days of her rebellious teenage life. From sneaking into a concert to dealing with the complications at home and school, Chloe’s journey is anything but easy. The episode introduces us to the key characters and relationships that will shape the rest of the story.
Chloe’s struggles at Blackwell Academy are highlighted as she deals with conflicts involving teachers and fellow students. Her defiant attitude and strained relationship with authority figures are central to her character development.
Chloe stumbles upon Mikey and Steph, who are in the middle of an intense Dungeons & Dragons campaign during school. Despite her typical rebellious attitude, Chloe agrees to join in, taking on the role of a powerful barbarian warrior named "Barb."
Once the game begins, we enter the world of imaginary dungeons and dragons, with Mikey as the Dungeon Master guiding Chloe through various scenarios. It’s a fun break from the main storyline, as we get to see a different side of Chloe’s personality.
Even in this mini-game, our decisions shape the narrative. I had to choose how Chloe’s character reacted to different situations, from fighting enemies to making alliances with other characters. Some of the choices led to hilarious results, while others had surprising consequences for the in-game world.
The D&D session concludes with an epic showdown against a fearsome boss. Using clever strategies and magic, I helped Chloe and her party emerge victorious, with Chloe proving that even rebels can be heroes in a fantasy world.
“Awake” sets the stage for Chloe Price’s story in Life is Strange: Before the Storm. This episode is filled with emotional moments, important choices, and the beginning of Chloe and Rachel’s journey together.
