In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Lords and Villeins. This video covers the Tutorial Mission under the Ruling Lessons called Dusty Manor.

This game let's you build a settlement (village) that evolves into a thriving kingdom with a unique simulation of feudal economy. The construction of the villagers home is similar to "Rim World". But the management of the colony is some what like "Manor Lords". Families are assigned land for housing and land for work. Each family is in charge of their own land and performs their job functions based on their profession. At the start of the game, you donate them some resources to get started in the construction of their homes and provide them a bit of food. After that each family works towards providing goods that they sell to the other families in the settlement. You are represented in the game as the Royal Family. The Royal Family collect taxes from each of the families (the taxes can be money and a percentage of the goods they produce). Your family in turn sells these goods back to the villagers as well. Your kingdom grows as you accept new families with various other professions. The King that you serve will also demand a yearly tax from you as well. The new DLC The Great Houses let's you fight and conquer other territories and eventually allow you to take over the realm.
