2So, first hour and half into the game and I'm loving it. The art is great, the voice acting is actually top notch and includes an impressive list of famous VAs, include 2 from the new Fire Emblem game. Speaking of Fire Emblem, this game is VERY heavily influenced by the series, however, rather than weapon weaknesses, seems it's more like weapons are better against creatin sets of armor. Story seems to revolve around a king who's gone driven mad by the words of a prophecy. One day a Phoenix will rise and slay the Dragon (phoenix being the hero, dragon the foe). Driven mad by this prophecy, the king has ordered the slaughter of priests and the burning of books. Now, falsely accused and imprisoned for helping a strange woman escape the abusive clutches of the local Lord. After breaking out of jail, we take the base hostage, and she slashes the Lord's throat. Now, considered traitors, we quickly make camp and begin preparing for the inevitable pursuit of the king's men.
