The party reaches Nota and are greeted pretty quickly by Leo and his squad. Fortunately, Leo isn't the sharpest crayon in the box and makes it pretty easy for the party to run away. Jean suggests heading to the carnival (where Giban is) to take the Magic Arrow. Whatever that is. The group partakes of some fun carnival antics (including the infamous Giggle Tent) before meeting with Giban.
Leo arrives before we can take off in the arrow, but GIban deceives him for now. Giban suggests to Lucia that she needs some new clothes to blend in with the local populace. This leads to dressing and peeping tomfoolery!
After Lucia is dressed in her Sunday best, we hop into the arrow. Leo appears and instead of capturing us, he damages the Magic Arrow so we...end up somewhere else. Which makes no sense whatsoever since Leo wants to capture us, but oh well!
We end up in some ancient ruins. Upon entering, the group discovers a record of events from the past (aka, Lunar: The Silver Star) which shows the Grindery attacking Vane. The group wonders who could have left such a record....when an unexpected stranger appears...
