Let's Play Mass Effect: Andromeda (BLIND) - Episode 69
4In May of 2018, I was blessed with my first time experience of the original Mass Effect title. In September of that same year, I experienced Mass Effect 2 for the first time, and finally in October 2018 I got to experience the close to the trilogy in the form of Mass Effect 3. Which now brings us to the most recent Mass Effect title, Andromeda. Supposedly the day that "Mass Effect Died" and a game that fails to do anything well. Is it really that bad? Well, it's time for me to experience Andromeda fully for the first time. Can it stand up to the original trilogy? Which made me bawl my eyes out at the end of the third game, or will it prove to add to the Mass Effect universe with something "different" while being enjoyable at the same time? That's what this journey will reach to learn. -- Not to mention the Mass Effect franchise are some of my best, most enjoyable, and most successful Let's Plays to date, so of course I am going to play everything!
Mass Effect: Andromeda, or so I've been told, is a lot longer than the original trilogy titles. Because of this, and the fact that I'll be trying to do as much as I can (including Codex's and Exploration), this Let's Play could very well beat the 114 episode length of Mass Effect 2 & 3. Except this LP to follow the same formula. No cuts, all recorded. All codex's, everything. If that's not your cup of tea, you have the freedom to skip through the videos! Or just find something that fits your style more.
The idea behind this game's story is really interesting, and I am hoping it pulls it off and interests me as much as I want it to. Bringing back old elements from the original Mass Effect, mixed with elements from the other games, and a ton of new additions/gameplay improvements? Yes please. I think this game has the potential to hold up well as a Mass Effect side story. But hey, that's me talking after the first 10 episodes. I'll make my final opinion when we've finished the game.
NOTE: This is a "BLIND" Let's Play. Which means I am playing & experiencing it for the first time. I have previously played the Mass Effect trilogy to full completion, so I am familiar with the universe.
