Masters of Anima is a 2018 action strategy game developed by Passtech Games and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game tells the story of Otta, a Shaper in the land of Spark.
A long ago, a supernatural volcano named Mount Spark threatened to destroy the world, but the Shapers, a group of summoners, save the land by conjuring magical servants and sealing the mountain.
Centuries later, Otto, an apprentice Shaper, has to pass his exam to be able to marry his sweetheart, Supreme Shaper Ana. However, Zahr the Banished, a corrupt Shaper, shatters Ana's essence and threatens to destiny the world with the power of Mount Spark. It is up to Otto save his fiancée and stop Zahr.
In Master of Anima, the player has the ability to summon servants known as Guardians. These Guardian are used to fight the Golems that serve Zahr, are also used to solve puzzles and to remove obstacles. Various kinds of Guardians exist, and whenever Otto gains a level, the player can unlock new skills for Otto and his Guardians.
