Mega Man has located Dr Wily's new castle, thanks to the mysterious robot known as Duo. However, Mega can't go there as there is a barrier preventing entry. The energy sources for the barrier are the other four robot masters. The blue bomber heads to Central Asia to fight the honorable Sword Man. Sword Man seeks a fair fight with the blue bomber. Can Mega Man defeat Sword Man and weaken the barrier? Or will Sword Man prove to be the better warrior?
