1Taking on the main and alternate path within Rainy Turtloid's stage at Inami Temple. There's acid rain in several areas around here,you must destroy the little devices scattered in the areas to lower the barrier over the machine creating it. Near the end of the stage is a bunch of spikes blocking some goodies. If you take advantage of invincibility frames from being hit,you can get past them quickly. You'll find a Dr.Light capsule with the Shadow Body part,a Heart Tank,some Reploids,and the alternate path around here. Taking an alternate path after defeating Nightmare Zero pits you against High Max. You must stun him with a special weapon,then you can hurt him with a charged X-Buster shot. The Giga Attack from the Ultimate Armor also makes short work of him. As for Rainy Turtloid,you must first destroys the crystals on his back. Then you can hurt him with the X-Buster or Z-Saber. You can stun him with Ice Burst. His crystals regenerate after several seconds,so you'll have to destroy them again when they do.
