Re-fighting the fortress bosses, with special weapons. As you can tell, they're alot easier.
This time, there's commentary, as I got woke up in the middle of the night.
This was all recorded around 4am. My apologises if the voice levels vary a bit, I kept tweaking the sound levels and was never really happy with it.

Also re-fought Wily with Wild Coil. My time? Pretty much the same as before. You spend so long dicking around with Wild Coil any speed gained from additional damage is pretty much lost.
I suppose if I worked at it a bit more, my time would be reduced, (hitting Wily at every oppurtunity would've helped, but, WC screwed me several times by refusing to do what it's supposed to!)
All in all, Wild Coil is a terrible weapon, I'm sticking with Freeze Cracker, thanks.
I still manage to perfect him. That Thunder Bolt strategy really neuters this boss fight.

Boss Overview:

M.A.S.H (Clown Robot):
(Easy to beat, hard to perfect due to the head's tendency to bounce into you.)
Danger Wrap deals significant damage, but I personally find the Mega Buster easier.
Quick boss fight.

Bass 1:
(Easy to beat, very hard to perfect)
Super Adapter.
Very effective, although hard to dodge attacks due to lack of slide.
You'll generally out-match him in damage.

Guts Man G (Nicknamed Gutsdozer MK 2):
(Easy to perfect with Slash Claw)
Slash Claw all the way. You can stop his rock attack by "slashing" it back at him.
Slash Claw does two damage per hit, so there's no real point in switching weapons.
Use Mega-Buster to stop Gut's "Charging" attack.

Bass 2:
(Hard to perfect since the AI tends to go crazy.)
Skipped due to Youtube time limit. The Super Adapter is his weakness, but I personally find it easier with just the buster. Your mileage may vary.

Gameriser (Turtle):
(Easy to perfect)
Wild Coil does decent damage, but needs good timing to use, since you get "stuck" to the ground should you fire it whilst standing, much like the Protoshield.
Danger Wrap is great if you can successfully use it.

HannyaNED² (Oni Mask):
(Difficult boss regardless. Slash Claw is very dangerous to use.)
Noise Crush is secondary weakness, if you can pull off the "charge without walls" trick in battle, then kudos to you. Me personally? I can't. His mean weakness is Slash Claw. It's easier than Mega-Bustering him but you are put at considerable risk whilst using it.
You can generally outdamage him.

Wily Machine No. 7:
(Reasonable to perfect, just need to pay attention. Overall easy battle.)
Half of this battle is skipped due to Youtube time limit.
Thunder Bolt deals two damage to him, Freeze Cracker does one. All other weapons I tried do jack to this phase. Use Mega Buster if you don't want to waste weapon energy.
Since you can dodge the Mini-Skull Walkers, they aren't really much to worry about.

Wily Capsule:
(Thunder Bolt ftw.)
Another rematch, this time with Wild Coil. I was intentionally going for a Perfect, therefore this took longer. If you really don't give a damn, then I suppose it CAN be quicker than using my Freeze Cracker/Thunder Bolt combo, but Wild Coil is really far to awkward for it's own good.
I constantly go back to the menu screen so I can select Wild Coil and have the fire button held down so I do not waste shots. It's all for nought anyway as the damn thing refuses to do what it's supposed to at least three times, (Hold Up for increased vertical height. Told you it was awkward. Supposedly. Sometimes, as shown in this video, it refuses to do this.) so I end up using a weapon tank anyway. You can also select Mega-Buster, hold fire, and then switch to Wild Coil, but still.
Thunder Bolt strategy is still viable since you can access the Pause Screen with weapons active, unlike the older games in the series.

As I said before, I'm sticking with Freeze Cracker.
