I know that not all game designers can share the same development philosophies, but calling one inferior just because it doesn't agree with yours doesn't automatically make it bad. It's not good to act like you can make a "bad" game better using different gameplay ideas, especially if your idea of great gameplay may not mesh with the genre or core of what the series is supposed to be about.
