Hunter Ghor has succumbed to Phazon corruption,and must be put down. His Plasma Cannon is needed anyway to fix the broken consoles beneath the Aurora Unit,so it can connect to Skytown on Elysia. Start heading to where your Ship is docked,and you'll eventually get a message saying an unknown entity is approaching. Quickly get back there,cause it's under attack! You'll find Ghor in his battle suit attacking it,and it's time to face him as a boss. When his shield is up,wait for him to charge at you,then aim for his back when it's exposed. This will reveal his weak point,and you can blast it with Phazon. At about half HP,he gains a weak point on the ground. Use the Boost Ball to stun him,then attack his front while stunned. When he's close to death he'll enter Hyper Mode,so quickly use Phazon against him to defeat him. After his body is absorbed by Dark Samus,you'll get the Plasma Cannon as a reward. This allows you to melt enemies and certain objects,and doubles as a welding torch in this game. Use it to repair the damaged computer consoles below the AU chamber to get him connected to Skytown. He also gives you access to a nearby Landing Dock to call your Gunship to.
