After clearing out some useless messages for inventory space, my first order of business is hunting down some spells. I don't really need most of the ones I pick up at this time, though, but I guess it's better to have and not need, right?

Next stop, Temple of the Snake. It's one of the last non-mandatory dungeons we have left to do that actually has a quest associated with it. First we need to clear out some Air Elementals to reach the place, though.

Temple of the Snake is full of Medusas... and Peasants. The Peasants are friendly, though they don't talk to us. We can kill them, but it would reduce our reputation... which we don't actually care about anymore. Oh, and there's two bosses here. A Gold Dragon is just hanging out here and dropped a RELIC when we killed it. The other boss, Q, is a special peasant sprite that is hostile to us, has a ton of HP, and casts Finger of Death on us. Q drops the Horn of Ros, which if we are holding it gives us a precise readout of current enemy HP. Good stuff.

And now for something that I never want to do: Gharik's Forge. Dear lord I hate this place. Fortunately I spend a bit pf time clearing the New Sorpigal map of the giant hordes of Goblins and Mages that infest the area. It doesn't do enough to put off actually going in the dungeon, though.

I truly hate this dungeon. Warlocks and Fire Elementals are the worst enemies, especially for this stage of the game. Insanity and constant item breakage makes for a supremely unfun time. I'm going to look back on this fondly later on, though...

Rock Blast is becoming more and more my MVP spell. Those who consider Earth magic useless have clearly never used this spell before.

Anyways, new quest for us. Another place I hate. FUN.
