"Meeting Bill was a...rather interesting experience. He somehow managed to fuse himself with a Pokémon - how this happened, he nervously avoided - and needed my assistance to save him. Frankly I was stumped as to what he was up to, and even MissingNo. hadn't the vaguest guess as to how it happened. But after he was freed, he was quite excited to meet and hear all about my MissingNo. (though he's not used to this kind of attention, making him a tad uncomfortable, so I tried to make Bill keep it short). After receiving a ticket to the SS Anne as thanks (and a quick look at his Eevee family, which I admit was quite adorable), we left to return to Cerulean and challenge Misty. (But what still bothers me is that we never saw the Pokémon that Bill was combined with, and he never told us what happened to the poor thing...I suspect something going on behind the scenes, but Bill still strikes me as a decent man...)
Water Queen Misty, Gym Leader of Cerulean City, was no push over. We had to work quite hard for our win - although she really must still be young yet, as our victory was achieved through a rather obvious tactical error on her part...but still, I see the potential in her. I hope to see her climb the ranks some day; she seems serious enough about being a trainer."
So yeah, I tried to keep up the informative nonsense a while longer, and unfortunately failed just a bit - Misty required me totally paying attention, so no more long ramblings for me during that battle! Oops...heh.
