Let's Play Nekopara Vol.1 Part 11 (FINALE) | A CAT CAFE??
18Hello YouTube and welcome to the final episode of Nekopara Volume 1! In today's video our catgirls get in a spot of trouble with the police! BUT HANG ON. This story has happy ending after all!

So this is the part where I usually leave my thoughts/reviews on a series but...I'm not even sure where to start with Nekopara. First off, this was my first visual novel game so I had no idea what to expect from the beginning. What I got, however, was a delightful storyline filled with adorable lolita type characters and a douchey MC.
Controls -
Mouse throughout the entire thing. Clicking.
Audio -
The soundtracks in the game were really well done actually! What really surprised me about this game was the voice acting, it was all so convincing and solid! I really have no complaints there!
Graphics -
Visual Novels are all usually still backgrounds with a few character models thrown here and there. Nekopara brings characters that move, blink, talk, even breathe! It was unexpected and brought a new level of enjoyment out of this experience for me.
Story -
Here's where I get a little nervous. In visual novels things get sexual, things get weird, sentences that the MC says are often off-putting and awkward, situations that occur are incredibly hard to sit through, these are all what I've observed myself from visual novels. They almost always follow an anime-like structure meaning; really cute girls, some amount of action or fighting, incredibly sad situations, and, ALMOST ALWAYS, a sex scene or two. Visual novels aren't bad, I'm not against them or anything like that. What I will say about it was that I, quite literally, was thrown into freezing cold water with this game....And I actually really, really enjoyed it. It took a couple episodes to get used to, but the feel and the style of the game really grew on me. At first I was bored just clicking through, but over time I got really into the story and didn't mind just reading lines out. In the end this game told a story and the story wasn't half bad....Regardless of how much I hate the MC.
Long story short. I enjoyed this game! I am definitely looking to play more of these games in the future. It was actually really fun to record and share with you guys! Visual novels are not for everyone, I certainly didn't think they were for me going into this. Over time, however, the game grew on me and the story was just fun to sit through!
Do I recommend this?
YAH. Nekopara's story is somewhat awkward and hard to grasp, especially if you haven't played a game like this before, but that does not stop it from being the adorable, fun, charming, game that the dev's set out to make. 10/10 would catgirl again! -Vanilla is best-
