Time to beat the game! We only have two levels to show this time, along with the ending cutscenes and credits.

8-Airship: Pretty garden-variety as airships go, honestly.

8-Castle: Actually doesn't have much unique about it either. The part with the falling platforms is kind of new, but it doesn't really feel like a final castle. Bowser's first phase, naturally, is lame and pointless, basically just a rehash of his SMB1 fight. His second phase, however, is a bit more interesting; you have to jump across platforms while leading his fireballs to destroy terrain in your way. Funny enough, at no point in this fight do you actually attack Bowser directly, just press a switch and let gravity take care of him.

Upon beating the game, we're treated to the typical cutscenes of Mario rescuing Peach, Bowser getting humiliated, and whatnot, and we unlock the bonus world of the game, which we'll see next time.
