Null Vector is a twin-stick shooter rogue-lite developed and produced by Optical Override.
Simple neon-style retro graphics, very enjoyable gameplay, and a very competitive price. I can easily say there's a great value for just 5 dollars / euro.
There are no checkpoints, so if you die, you die, and you'll have to restart from the beginning. But the adventure will be different all the time. Everything will be different, from the combination of powerups you can install, to the "world" and the various rooms.
The gameplay is smooth, fast, and very enjoyable. The difficulty seems just right, not too easy, not too difficult.
The only thing that gave me a bit of a hard time when I just started playing is the lack of explanations on the various powerups. But I guess it's done on purpose, so you can discover it by yourself with time.
