I have to start saying that I've never played the previous games.
With that said, I'll talk about Sudden Strike 4 only, not comparing it to any other title.
It's a real time strategy game; graphically it looks really good, the gameplay seems a bit complicated and confusing at first, expecially if you're not used to this kind of games.
There are different "modes" and the scenarios are nice.
I'm interested in history, and I've not been disappointed. There is a good amount of accurate historical information and also real footage from the war.
There's also multiplayer, but In this video I played single player only.
