Squids from Space is a team-based PVP top down shooter. Aliens and humans are in war to decide the future of Planet Earth. Who will win?
It's really difficult for me to give you an opinion about this game because I love it and hate it at the same time. Why? It's simple, because there are some things I love, and some that ruins my gaming experience and makes me not want to play the game,

Starting with positive things, I can say the graphic style is unique, technically the game is very well made, the gameplay is fluid and it's kinda easy to understand what to do. The "team versus team" idea is pretty nice, and makes the game fun...when you can find someone to play with.

And now the negative things....it's easy to understand what to do but I think a tutorial to explain the various weapons would be appreciated. I didn't even know how to lock my aim on an opponent until someone told me. That should be fixed.
As I said, it's nice and fun to play "team versus team" but...only when there's a full team or almost a full team. Because the game will start even if there's only 1 real person available that wants to play the game, that means technically you could play against bots only, and let's just say, bots in this game aren't really smart. Sometimes they don't even try to win the match, or do the most logic thing in that particular situation.
Last but not least, the match ends exclusively when a team reaches 3 points (captures the opponent's commander 3 times). For me this is a real nightmare, and that's what makes me not want to play the game. Why? Matches can last 5 minutes or...hours. I played a couple of matches that lasted over 30 minutes, which is just too much for me, makes the game really slow and boring. I also have an experience of a 2+ hours game. I don't know in the end how much that match lasted, because I decided to leave it. It was stuck on 2-2 for a long time. I just tried to resist how much I could but I had to give up after 2 hours. A game like this NEEDS a timer. Matches can't last that long. Or, at least, give the option to players to choose to have a time limit or not in their matches.
One last thing. I tried this game when it was in Early Access, and I know the developers are working hard on it. I hope at least one of those issues will be fixed because this has the potential to become a great game.
