Let's Play: Pikmin 3 {1/2} (Longplay)
11Pikmin 3, the third installment of an incredible franchise. Pikmin was born from a Gamecube tech demo, and was incorporated into something special. The gameplay of Pikmin is so satisfying and fun, that naturally a sequel had to come up. Pikmin 2 was equally fun, but Pikmin 3 was the real deal. The gamepad of the Wii U created unbelievable gameplay that the first and second games could only dream of, being able to utilize the gamepad in many different ways for explorations. The game looks absolutely incredible, lush HD environments that really push what the Wii U had to offer as a high definition console. The sense of exploration has been revamped as well, since there's no longer a set time limit, rather you set it yourself by how much fruit you collect. Exploration feels less constrained and more free that way, a nice touch. Overall this game is great, and the Pikmin 4 bullshit can stop any time now, too. If the game is practically finished that's great, it be really nice if we could have it now really, thank you. Also a side note, I did heavy editing to this playthrough so that only highlights and important exploration is shown to save time.
