Ah, November 18th. "I can't wait until November where we can get to more important things" indeed, because today, Pokemon S&M- I mean Sun and Moon was released, Nintendo's most pre-ordered game ever. That's gotta say something amirite? And to celebrate one of Nintendo's most popular franchises, I present my playthrough of Soulsilver, the 2009 remake of my most favorite pair of games in the franchise. Gold and Silver was how I got into the franchise in the first place, taking its place as my favorites in the series. So naturally I had to get the remakes when they came out. It's hard to believe how far pokemon has come. Playing Gold on the Gameboy Color, thinking that it was the greatest thing ever, and absolutely untouchable, only to look back and see how, damn, pokemon has come such a long way. This franchise is wonderful. For 90s kids, this is childhood; pokemon is refreshing, fun, and unforgettable. Happy 20 years pokemon, hopefully we'll see another 20 years, and hopefully beyond.
