So, with Gary bested, it's time to actually start to explore the world and see just what fantastic critters await us. It's been a long time since I've played with just the original 151, so expect me to misname a few of them, like Magneton/Magnemite, from time to time. I also should probably check and make sure what type my Eevee is, since I'm pretty sure that was one of the things that the randomizer shuffled around.

Also, I hope you really like the Skull Bash animation. Since you weren't supposed to get Eevee until much later in the game, it's not going to learn any other moves until about level 27, and then it'll just be Quick Attack. The evolutions don't learn anything before then, either, IIRC.

That said, Skull Bash is actually a decent move, one of the strongest normal type moves there is, albeit with that massive handicap of having to charge up a turn. I will definitely need to hope I run into some decent pokemon to carry a lot of the load. And balance out the team, since I have no idea what any of the trainers/gym leaders are going to have waiting for me.
