Let's Play Pokémon Silver! - #23: "Plowing Through the Gyms"
3Welcome, Pokémon Trainers, to the next installment in the series of Professor Chas' adventures through the generations of the Pokémon World! We are now into Gen 2, the land of Johto (neighbor to Kanto), and we'll be playing through Pokémon Silver! I'm planning for this to be a Monday to Friday series, so check back daily throughout the week for new episodes as they publish!
This series is going to be played in a somewhat Nuzlockian style, with a twist. Instead of first captures on each route, I'll be bringing back Pokémon from my Pokémon Blue playthrough to join the current team at certain points in the game. If a Pokémon does faint, I'll be permanently boxing it as in a traditional Nuzlocke, but instead of them being "dead", they've simple suffered an injury that puts them out for the rest of the season (or, rather, generation) - such Pokémon shall be returning in future generations as we make our way to those.
It's a whole new world we live in, with all-new Pokémon and new Gym Badges to obtain! C'mon along with us for the ride!
