Let's Play Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC): Part 21 - Scrunch
This part here is of utmost importance, as we take on the last Club Master of the game to try and earn us the last Master Medal of the game! Oh and the last Club Member (who we've seen already).
Club Member Daniel "Nap Time Deck"
Based on the deck name, you can tell what Daniel's strategy is here. Putting your Pokemon to sleep. For what reason I'm not too sure, it could be a powerstall or a run out of cards stall but I take him out pretty fast. Some luck is involved here by flipping heads inbetween turns, but you could always bring in cards like Switch or Full Heal to negate Sleep. Of course Psychic resistance can help you out here too.
Club Master Murray "Strange Psyshock Deck"
The only thing really strange here is why his deck is named what it is. Sure, Abra does have a move called Psyshock but the main theme of this deck is what the title of my video is based on. Chansey's Scrunch attack. His deck is designed to run you out of cards, which is a win condition we've yet to see. Other than his Chansey, he has Mr. Mime who resists damage higher than 30 and Alakazam for Damage Swap to make sure his Pokemon don't faint. Oh and on top of that lots of ways to stop you from attacking and ways for him to recover HP.
This guy is hard to beat, you can get lucky and take him down quick but if the battle drags on you're gonna have to have quite an effective offense if you wanna win. You'll want to use (oddly enough) Fighting Pokemon to take out those Chansey and then something along the lines of the Rattata set for both resistance to Psychic and low enough damage to take out Mr. Mime.
