Today we try and stop Team Flare from doing what they have been trying to do for so long. Will we succeed, or will we live eternally (X) / die (Y)?

Sorry about the bad audio, I think I've figured out the cause of it.

Xerneas seems to be very useful in competitive play: a +Spd -Atk / +Sp. Atk -Atk nature works very well with Geomancy and a Power Herb so that it charges in one turn. Nothing can withstand Moonblast, Psychic (for Poison types) and Hidden Power Fire (for steel types) from a pokémon with 794 Sp. Attack (with Modest nature) and 652 Speed (if it has a Timid nature). Not even Aegislash and Arceus-Steel. I've had many ubers matches on Showdown where I could sweep with Xerneas unless an opponent used toxic. However, for in-game play it's not fantastic if it doesn't use Geomancy, and you can die in the time it takes to set one up without the Power Herb.

Yveltal is more useful for in-game play. It has Oblivion Wing, which is helpful for stalling as it restores 75% of damage dealt. However, it does not have access to a move like Geomancy and has more (and more common) weaknesses. It also does not have the most powerful moves available. I haven't used Yveltal much so I cannot say for certain that it is useless for competitive play (it probably isn't since it's in ubers) but I have often found them easy to deal with using an Electric type which resists their stalling Oblivion Wing move.
