Game published 1988 by SSI (Gamefest CD-ROM published 2001 by Interplay).
After leaving the kobold caves, we follow the directions on the map in the kobold barracks - and find ourselves back by the Nomad Camp. (So that's how they were getting there!) Continuing west, we follow the Stojanow River to its source, and meet a silver dragon, who instructs us in how to use the silver efreeti bottle we found in the kobold caves (but wasn't it brass when we found it?). Since we're in the Western Wilderness now, we head due south to the Moonsea coast, and literally stumble into the Buccaneer Base where the young Bivant heir was taken by his kidnappers. Our party opts for the quick, minimum-combat method of completing this mission, and soon have the lad safely back in Phlan. (See Aulddragon's LP of this game if you'd like to see what taking out all the buccaneers would have been like instead.)
But now, "Lord Cadorna" (who apparently has risen in influence on the Phlan Town Council) has a "delicate diplomatic mission" for us to an outpost of Zhentil Keep. This might be totally innocent -- but aren't the Zhentarim supposed to be the "bad guys"?
