ByteRockers' Games and their game "Beat Slayer" were part of the Indie Expo during devcom 2021. Beat Slayer is the world's first hack and slay that is played entirely on the beat, offering complete freedom of 360 degree movement. In various arenas with different music styles, the player must always focus on the beat and must fight hordes of different enemies, all of which require different tactics. A monumental boss fight awaits at the end of each Arena.

At the devcom Indie Expo which took place during #ddc2021 we were taking a look at indie games from all over the world. We got exclusive hands on experience with developers on their games. The NRW Indie Expo is powered by the Premier of the state of North Rhine Westphalia and aims to bring visibility to indie developers and their games.
