Let's Play Quake 2 Ground Zero #19: Oh Look, Things are Easier Now*
*Compared to before I got the power shield, at least.
We're in the final parts of this campaign and not only does the power shield mean that we're much more durable, thus conserving resources, but there also appear to be less turrets scattered about. I don't know whether the people that made these maps decided to switch out turrets for conventional foes they thought were more challenging or if they finally realised they were making something too hard, but I for one welcome this change even if it's too late to make me like this campaign.
Maybe one day I'll return to this one in my own time using the remaster and see just how much better altering the turrets makes it, but not right now. I'll need a break from Quake 2 after this one is over, that's for sure.
