Ratchet & Clank is a classic Platformer created by Insomniac Games, the studio that was also behind the amazingly fun Spyro The Dragon series that was originally created for the first Playstation console. Run wild on tons of different planets with dozens of crazy futuristic weapons and gadgets while you try and save the galaxy!
In the second game of the Ratchet & Clank series you take control of the familiar heroes from the first game -- Ratchet & Clank, a Lombax and his robotic companion. After having saved the galaxy they find themselves on a TV show and eventually reveal that they're bored with their now ordinary day-to-day life.
Conveniently the CEO of Megacorp happens to be watching the broadcast and informs them that he has a job available for them, to procure his Furby that was stolen by an avid collector... Erm, I mean, to retake a stolen animal (called a protopet) from a thief that plans to use it for undoubtedly nefarious purposes.
