Let's Play Resident Evil Gaiden Ep.1 The Return Of Barry Burton
34On the first episode of Let's Play Resident Evil Gaiden, we begin our non-canon sidestory with Barry Burton having joined an anti-Umbrella secret organization. Barry is tasked with traveling out to a luxury cruise liner, the Starlight, to both investigate an escaped B.O.W. and find Leon Kennedy, who was also investigating the B.O.W.. We're airdropped onto the deck of the ship, and it isn't long before we encounter the zombified passengers. However, fighting them is somewhat unusual, because all the combat is determined by a QTE minigame. We start off by trying to find the ship's Security Room, in hopes of locating Leon on the security monitors. After snagging the key to the Security Room off a nearby zombie, Barry checks the monitors but doesn't see Leon. Instead, we find another survivor, a little girl named Lucia who was rescued by Leon. Lucia's hiding place is being attacked from the outside, so Barry rushes across the deck to her rescue only to encounter the B.O.W. we're after as well.
