Continuing on from the previous part, I start another new day by going about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island.
While doing just that, I do some requests, and also get Violet's final friendship event.
How does Violet's final friendship event play out? Well after some trouble getting herself to say the words, Violet says that she has been in love with us since the first time she saw us.
After saying this, she asks us if we will go out with her.
Seeing as I'm dating Odette on this save file, and the title of this part making this outcome obvious, I reply by saying "I'm sorry".
Despite being hurt by this answer, and having thought this might happen, she says that, even if we love someone else, she will always love us.
So that was a pretty painful scene to go through!
Making this scene more awkward, the next time I talked to Violet not long after the cutscene, her dialogue clearly acknowledges how awkward that was! (Violet has to be the most painful character to reject in this game due to how awkward it is when you turn her down!)
Moving on from that awkward friendship event, I complete three requests.
The first request is to clean up Bacchus' room. The reward for doing this? The trash that was in his room! (One man's trash is another man's treasure, I guess!)
The second request is to answer some questions from Elena about Ecco. The reward for this is a fire ring that I end up giving to Sierra as a gift!
And finally, the third request is a treasure hunt from Joe.
He marks down the location of some sunken weapons shrine. (The shrine ironically has nothing to do with weapons!)
Before having Fangord fly me to an area nearby the sunken shrine, I sell some stuff to clear up storage space, drink or eat a fire element, and give Elena the materials she needed to once again upgrade Ecco's head.
Upon being transported to a nearby location, I take note of Ecco's new head, (He looks pretty odd with the new head!) and then head to the area marked on the map.
Picking up the weapons shrine up from the ocean floor, I get onto this small island that just has a standard shrine on it.
After defeating the monsters here, I obtain a treasure chest that, for whatever reason, was there before defeating those monsters!
Returning to the island, I have Jocelyn appraise the treasure, and also tell Joe about what I found.
The reward for this request is the treasure itself, which turned out to be a fire element.
Having used a fire element earlier, I take the medicine after checking my stats, and confirm that it boosted my fire attack stat! (I never noticed that they did that!)
Returning to Ecco, I have him place the island back down, and get ready to check on my crops and monsters.
