Let's Play Rune Factory: Oceans Part 60 - Beatrix's Second Friendship Event
0Continuing on from the previous part, I start another day by going about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island.
While doing just that, I also accept a request from Elena to look for some ancient golem manual.
After talking to everyone on the island and accepting that request, I head out to sea after checking on my crops and monsters. (I also befriend a fish!)
But due to running out of RP, I don't make it to the location Elena marked on the same day.
So with that being the case, I return to Fenith island.
After selling some crops, and talking to people at the inn, I head home for the night.
Before going to bed, I make a toy duck, some furniture, and further upgrade my forging skill by making the same axe over and over again. (What a weird combination of things to make!)
Waking up the next morning after going to bed, I once again go about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island. (I also make some dishes and drinks before doing that.)
As I go about my usual morning routine, I randomly give various characters gifts. (Kelsey probably would have liked the toy duck more than Quinn did!)
Along with all of that, I also get Beatrix's second friendship event.
How does this one play out? Well Beatrix wants us to take a look at something that she found on the beach.
While she wonders if it's some treasure from a long forgotten civilization, father Gerard shows up to ruin that idea by pointing out that it looks like it's probably glass from a broken bottle.
The scene ends with Aden noting that Beatrix and Gerard seem to be good friends.
Continuing on with the morning routine of talking to everyone on the island, I also talk to Anette, who has made her once a month/season visit to Fenith island.
She tells us a bit about the village she lives in, and asks us to come visit some day. (We don't get to go there in this game, obviously!)
Moving on from that, I finish talking to everyone on the island, and then head home to see if I had any fish I could cook. (SPOILERS: They were all too high a level to cook!)
After doing all of that, I head out to sea and lift up a statue head from the area that Elena marked on the map.
To my surprise, defeating all of the enemies on this statue head leads to nothing! (The only treasure to be found was a small treasure chest that was inside a bigger treasure chest.)
So with the only thing found being a small treasure chest, will getting it appraised lead to the manual that Elena was after? Find out in the next part! (I haven't recorded the next part yet, so even I don't know if that will be answered in the next part!)
