Continuing on from the previous part, I finally check out a walkthrough to see what monsters from the water spirit shrine can grow anything that my current monsters can't grow.
This takes up 10 minutes of this part!
Saying that, though, I do also do some fishing for 5 minutes while glancing through the walkthrough! (So that would make it about 15 minutes of looking at the walkthrough!)
After doing a lot of fishing, I take a bath, and then enter the water spirit shrine with some of my monsters.
While spending most of the night inside the shrine, I manage to befriend a turtle/tortoise?, and make it to the next floor of the water spirit shrine.
As I battle monsters into the early hours of the morning, I eventually leave and head home.
But seeing as I was going for a trophy, (And to just show what happens when you stay up too late in this game!) I eventually let Aden pass out outside the house! (I had to make more axes to increase my forging skill and put items in storage before that! Speaking of which, I run out of storage in this part! So it looks like I need to get another upgrade from James!)
And much like when you stay up late in this game, you wake up much later in the morning the next day. (There is also a chance of getting a cold. But I didn't get one this time!)
Funnily enough, he only wakes up three hours later than usual!
So in a way, waking up at 9am is much more convenient, seeing as the shops are open at this time!
Moving onto the morning, I go about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island. (I also sell some crops at the gemini general store.)
And as you can probably tell from the title of this part, I get some more friendship events while going about my morning routine!
The first of the two friendship events is Elena's fifth friendship event.
How does this one play out? Well before Elena can have her golem, Mr. Invincible, fight Aden, a loud noise causes Aden to run off to investigate.
And what was the noise? A landslide that ends up blocking off access to the dragon shrine!
While everyone there looks on hopelessly, Elena soon shows up to show off how much stronger Mr. Invincible has become by having him destroy those boulders.
The scene ends with everyone praising Elena, to which Elena seems a bit embarrassed, and Aden being relieved that he didn't end up having to fight this form of Mr. Invincible!
Moving onto the other one, we have James' fourth friendship event. (Kind of fitting to have his friendship event right after Elena's friendship event!)
And how does this one play out? Well he demands to know what our relationship with Elena is! (He's always so overprotective of her!)
After Sonja points out that Elena is more interested in Ecco (The golem), James calms down.
The scene ends with James talking about how he's looking forward to seeing the father of his girlfriend for the first time in a while.
After those two friendship events, the only other thing I do in this part is talk to more people, and give some grilled fish to Mikoto. (I also look at the villagers relationship page as I always do at the end of a record session!)
