Let's play a brand new IP by Bandai Namco, Scarlet Nexus! Developed by their own internal studios alongside Tose, the game explores a future where a new hormone was found to give humans psionic powers. AND THEN ALIENS INVADED. Let's fight the good fight to save Earth from brain eating cosmic atrocities in this Devil May Cry -ish action JRPG that really nailed the ACTION aspect of the genre, all the while being sure to keep our friends happy and shove plenty of presents in their faces. Also this game has a dual-story mechanic and I opted to go for the lady, as is my custom, so we will be teaming up with Kasane for this run. Let's go use the power of friendship to triumph over evil, because, seriously, what else do you think is going to happen?

In this episode we continue our gift giving spree and Luka shows his true colors.

Now that we have the full party available to us, we also have to deal with twice as many bonds in the Hideout, which, as you may imagine, is an enormous pace-killer. I'd really like to avoid having multiple weeks of bond episodes while the plot is left to rot in limbo, so I will start skipping some things (mostly item descriptions), in an effort to try and shrink these sections down to more manageable sizes. But frankly, this is the design of the game, and for however much I may try to alleviate it, it is what it is.
