0Sam has a dream where he's the pilot of a spaceship. He's sitting in his captain's chair leaning back and listening to some classic psychedelic rock and roll that kinda sounds like Pink Floyd while watching a view of space, a nearby starcruiser, and a nearby planet. Is this the past? Suddenly he wakes up and finds himself on a train handcuffed. A soldier takes out a syringe with tranquilizer and injects it into Sam. The dream continues and then he wakes up again this time in the cargo hold of a plane. The soldier prepares another dose of tranquilizer and Sam makes him stab it through his own eye. He undoes his handcuffs and other soldiers start shooting him. Brand stops them because he needs Sam alive. As Sam grabs a parachute and opens the cargo bay hatch, Brand tries to reason with Sam saying that the war is lost, his team is processed, and being Mental's pet is better than the defeat he has coming. Sam believes his friends will be okay and jumps off the plane. He lands somewhere in the northern arctic circle near Russia next to an oil rig. All he needs now is a boat. The first boat falls down and explodes. There's a backup though and Sam's goal is bring it down to the water. This level makes me think that Croteam might have what it takes to make an FPS with a Doom 3 atmosphere. We also find audio logs made by a disgruntled Russian soldier named Dimitry who was once stationed at this oil rig and play a text adventure in order to access a supply closet filled with ammo.
