Let's Play Shadow of the Colossus Hard Mode Part 8: Kuromori
207Don't even begin to ask me why I had so much trouble with this colossus. As I mentioned a couple of times in the death montage, I get greedy and want to stab another time or two just because the damage you do on Hard Mode is so small. The drawback of course is that getting rolled on does a tremendous amount of damage, and standing in the poison mist is almost suicide for anything longer than like a second.
One POSSIBLE strategy that I recently thought of would be luring Kuromori up to one of the highest levels when you start out, make your way down to the bottom level, and just shoot his legs before he sees you and moves back down. This would ensure a longer time he stays down and might make even hard mode a cakewalk. Just play smart, be cautious, and don't get too greedy like I do...many times...in this video.
