Part 39
We continue the Carnan questline and go after Zog to interrupt his ritual. He's trying to resurrect the Balrog using the corrupted statues placed around the ice. We purify these, then defeat Zog, hopefully putting an end to his madness. We learn however that this is not the end of Zog, and we have one more encounter. He is raising the dead in Minus Morgul and we have to stop him. He has six Necromancer Totems that need purifying, and each one is guarded by past captains we encountered during our journey, only now they appear to be mindless zombies. We kill many, purify the totems, then have our final confrontation with Undead Zog, and complete the Carnan questline. We are comforted by the sight of Carnan flying overhead, indicating she is not gone forever. We will begin the final stages of the game in the next episode.
