Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 59 (The Defect Ascension 6 Run 4)
4WE WERE SO CLOSE NOOOO!
This was such a sick lightning/power/focus themed deck! It really had the legs to go the full run, but honestly on that final fight we got extremely unlucky with how our deck shuffled and we didn't really have a consistent way to put up large amounts of block or deal large amounts of damage quickly. It took set up to get our deck rolling, and if we draw poorly and/or our hand gets cluttered with non-power cards that I can't play for free with Mummified Hand then.. well, exactly what happened to us on the final fight is going to happen. I could of built the deck better, played some fights better and unfortunately I think I should of picked maybe a few more defensive cards or relics, but ultimately I think this deck was a winner that just got unlucky. I still had a blast playing it, I am slowly loving The Defect more and more with every run, if The Silent wasn't my favorite character I think The Defect might be! They are just so fun, unique and creative! I'll see you gamers in the next one!
