Let's Play Sonic Adventure 2 (Last) - Part 1 - For True Story
17In this part we start Last Story and procede to get immediately plot-dumped about the adventures of Dr. Gerald Robotnik (The GREATEST scientific genius in the world!).
Oh, and something about the Earth being destroyed in approximately 27 minutes and 53 seconds. No big deal, right?
Time to put aside our differences, put our hands together, and show this creep the real super power of team-work!

I'm an idiot, and pretty much forgot to talk about my thoughts on the Speed/Hunt levels after talking about the Mech levels, so I'll just quickly go through my thoughts before the final FINAL finale in the next part.
The Mech sections...are ok. They tend to be a bit too long and a bit too boring though, and it just gets more tedious with each consecutive playthrough. They just don't provide a lot of variety in how you execute each level. At least you can say that the Treasure levels ARE different in some way every time.
Speaking of, the Treasure levels in this game are...interesting. The music, while stupid and cheesy and stupid, is hilarious as far as Knuckles is concerned. The big problem comes with the levels being too big, the emeralds being too dickish, and WHY did they change how the radar worked!? I honestly really want to see a mod where the radar can detect all 3 shards at once again, because I feel like it would make even Meteor Herd/Mad Space SOMEWHAT bearable.
As for the Speed levels...need I say more. They're just plain awesome. The music rocks. The level design rocks. They're fun to play even after going through them a thousand times over. They're the reason you play Sonic Adventure 2 (and the Chao Garden of course) and I don't think there's anybody who can deny that.
