In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Space Prison (Full Release). This game is a Strategy RPG with Turn Based Tactical Combat. You're an inmate in a Space Prison and must do whatever necessary to survive and maybe eventually break out. You'll be able to explore and interact with the various inmates on the Space Prison station. The game loop starts you off each day allowing you freedom to move around the cell blocks to interact with various objects and inmates that appear. Exploring beyond the starting Cell Block will advance the time of the day. Once night time is reached, you will be forced back to the Cell Block. You end the day by sleeping in your cell mattress. There are two gangs on the Space Prison and you will need to pick which side you want to belong in. They'll give you quests to gain respect, and once you've earned enough respect from the lower tier gang members, you can challenge the next tier members to move up the ladder. Then you'll need to earn their respect and repeat the process until you defeat the boss gang member. Find rats to add to your party. They'll help you fight in the turn based battles. This game has a survival aspect to it, since you'll need to manage your Hope meter and Hunger meter. Each segment of these meters will give you buffs (perks that benefits you) or debuffs (disadvantages). There is crafting in the game as well, so you'll need to find random materials from either looting objects or combat rewards. Inventory management is important. Certain items need to be placed in orange slots to hide from the guards. You can buy and trade for them as well if you get enough prison currencies. The theme and premise of this game gives off some vibes from "Lockout", "Guardian of the Galaxy", "Star Trek", and "Prison Break". I love the comic book story telling style. I really enjoyed this game and highly recommend checking it out.
