Rune 4 - Lightning

Story: Throttle and Eret were led by the path to a small hut where they had to confront Dr. Facilier, his shadow demons and his Friends on the Other Side. Throttle and Eret struggled to find a way to overcome another of Shadow Realm cultists. But after they realized Dr. Facilier's power source comes from his Voodoo Talisman, they went for it and shattered it, leaving Facilier powerless and vanquishing him. Realizing he was defeated, Faciliar fantically begged Marik Isthar (though only appearing in his spectre form) for one more chance, but Marik turned on him, and brainwashed him to warn Throttle that if they want to live, then to leave Crowberry Woods and never come back. The two refuse, and promise Marik that they will destroy his darkness and will send him to the fiends once and for all. With Dr. Facilier sent to the other side, Throttle and Eret entered the Hut, and found no one inside the building until they heard pleas for help coming from the locked room. Upon unlocking it, they find a little girl named Vicky. Vicky is grateful for being saved and tells them her story about how she played with her friends Cuddley the anthromorphic bear, Happydog the anthromorphic dog and Kimbo the anthromorphic Koala on Earth when one day, a portal to unknown opened. Thinking it was a magic door, Vicky unwittingly went through it and found herself in a darkened Crowberry Woods, afraid and desperately searching for a hideout from the ominous darkness, Vicky came across Dr. Facilier who kidnapped her and locked her in a room inside small hut, to make Vicky die of starvation and send her soul to Shadow Realm. For long time, Vicky was scared for her life until Throttle and Eret finally came and saved her. Throttle and Eret told Vicky their story how they are in search for Six Runes of Light to disperse darkness from Crowberry Woods and defeat Marik Isthar, Vicky recalls how she could felt a small flicker of light while she was locked, and with her help, our duo has found another Lightning - Light of the Skies, which is the fourth Rune of Light. With third rune in their hands, Throttle and Eret, with the help of Vicky agree to go to the Tree of Life where next rune is located. Magic portal that brought Vicky in the Crowberry Woods has reopened and before she went into it, Vicky warned Throttle and Eret to look out for Grimmel the Grisly, another of Shadow Realm cultists has set them an ambush at the Tree of Life and is waiting to add their souls to Marik's collection.

Gameplay: New color is added, and that color is black, which will now make matching balls harder than before. Final amulets I will tell you about are these: Amulet of Luck, Amulet of Ages and Amulet of Immortality. Amulet of Luck increases your luck which makes random events to turn up in your favor more often. Amulet of Ages makes levels longer and harder to complete, but in exchange, it makes ball move much slower, and Amulet of Immortality provides you with immunity to losing lives if you fail a level. Amulet of Luck is very recommended when a level is way too difficult to complete, it makes Power-Ups spawn more often and on right places, gives colors of balls for your aid, and you can complete levels faster. But bear in mind that luck is not always a thing that is a matter of chance, sometimes, Luck is a thing that is a matter of choice, so make sure you prepare an effective strategy to win and to be accurate in firing balls, Amulet of Ages is also very recommended if you don't like playing levels where balls move very fast, and Amulet of Immortality is a must-have and which you should use to "scout" the level. This way you won't lose precious lives even if you fail a level. If you find a level to be too difficult, try using another amulet once you've gotten familiar with the board. Other Power-Ups are Fireflies, which will summon a swarm of fireflies which will buzz around hitting orbs and changing their colors for your aid, Rune Reward will instantly award you with small but additional progress in the current level and Slow will slow the speed of balls, giving you more time. Slow is an extremely important Power-Up, especially in Expert difficulty.
