Story: At the Tree of Life, Throttle and Eret had confronted Grimmel the Grisly, he was indubitabely clever and tougher to beat for the two, but they eventually outsmarted him and outmatched him. When Throttle and Eret approached the Tree of Life, they found it to have inedible fruits, but the fruits were not what they were looking for It was next Rune of Light. When they ventured into the tree, they found Lightning - Light of the Skies, fourth of the Magical Runes of Light. And they found something else, a deformed mortal who is half-human, half-Ikathid named Lir. Lir was not like any of his race, instead of giving them a sadistically hostile greeling, he looked very depressed and mentally broken with a defeated look on his face. Lir told them how he and Selena were just married several months ago, and went to live at Crowberry Woods to start a family. But they were attacked by Shadow Realm cultists. Even though Lir and Selena fought them to protect each other, they were no match for their evil tricks and powers. Marik Isthar and his Shadow Realm cultists kidnapped Selena, imprisoning her at the White Tower at the East of the Crowberry Woods, where she now despairs and cries about how she will never see Lir again. Throttle and Eret were touched by Lir's story and are determined to help Lir rescue Selena from Marik's evil clutches, and are certain that once they free Selena, they may also find next of the Magical Runes of Light, but it won't be enough for them alone, Lir must also regain his confidence and will to fight, and must be strong if he wants to save Selena. Once again, our heroes are greeted by Marik Isthar who now has brainwashed Grimmel, warning them that their determination to save Selena will be their deaths when they confront his next Shadow Realm culitst at the White Tower who will send them to evil land of Hades once he discourages them and convince them all hope is lost. He's very powerful, unforgiving and most sadistic of Marik Isthar's followers who takes joy and delight in sending enemies of the Shadow Realm cultists into the evil land of Hades, which is the entrance to the Shadow Realm, and who enjoys discouraging and torturing all who stand against Shadow Realm Cult. His name is Damian Hart!
Gameplay: The final color joins the fray, and that color is gray. Unlike in Aqua Pearls, where there were up to eight colors yet balls moved very slowly, here the difficulty will be even more harder than before as the balls move very fast. As you can see, I made a mistake when I took Amulet of Simplify in one level due to me being confident that I should be able to succeed with one color less at the cost of increased speed of balls, and that mistake costed me one life. If you fail the level, you will be offered to restart again, give up, or to choose a different amulet before restarting a level. Two of the hard-to-get amulets is Amulet of Duality that allows you to summon a friend to help you by plugging another mouse in your computer. And the other one is Amulet of Purple that makes all Power-Ups become a Purple Flame. Amulet of Duality is recommended if you can find a way to plug another mouse into computer and if a friend is willing to help. As for the Amulet of Purple, it may be tempting to use it, but you're better off with having multiple variety of Power-Ups than to have all of them be just one type of Power-Up. As of the other Power-Ups, Color Powder will allow you to fire a cloud of colored powder that will color the orbs in it's range. The color changes over time so be watchful if you want a certain color. Just aim the color powder and fire away. Marching Lights will spawn stars from a hole that will go in the reverse direction of the balls at the path, clearing balls they touch. The number of them is divided at the levels with two or three paths, same applies for the lights from the Amulet of Victory. And Joker Orb allows you to fire a ball that can match with any of the colors of the balls.
