Star Trek: Infinite is an absolute must-play for anyone who loves Star Trek, and doubly so if they also happen to be fans of Stellaris. It plays extremely similarly to Stellaris, which makes sense as Stellaris is its direct ancestor.

I started out the session playing the tutorial as the United Federation of Planets and just kept rolling from that point on, having an absolute blast. I'm still pretty early in the game so I can't comment too much on how it plays overall, but it really felt like the Trek 4X game (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) I've always wanted. I even got to build the Enterprise D!

Will be returning to this one.
