As requested, some people want to understand the combat and damage systems better. In order to do that I wanted to give those who weren't as familiar with how to do combat in SWG an avenue to catch up. This is a bit of a crash course but it covers the very basic elements of target acquisition, initiating combat, and what to do after. This will be a bit of a series to outline the foundations of combat as a whole which will eventually wind up with the multiplier tables.
