Zasz is dead. While Kerrigan was battling Tassadar's forces, the Protoss were able to kill Zasz with an attack that also harmed the Overmind. With the Overmind out of action, Zasz couldn't be reincarnated so his brood is now rampaging out of control and attacking everything around it, including other Zerg broods. We have to destroy Zasz's brood before it devastates the rest of the Swarm.

StarCraft was released in 1998 for Windows PC with a Mac version following in 1999 and a Nintendo 64 port in 2000. The game's major expansion, Brood War, was also released in 1998.

StarCraft and Brood War are considered to be among the best and most influential video games of all-time and among the best real-time strategy games of all-time for its use of unique but balanced factions and the ability to tell a compelling story in the RTS genre.

The version of the game played here is StarCraft: Remastered which was released in 2017. Remastered features updated graphics, re-recorded audio and updated online features while retaining the gameplay of the original. This LP uses the original 1998 campaign and audio settings.
