14Meet Mike. He's been invited to spend the summer out at a tropical island with his archaeologist uncle. Seems like a pretty ideal vacation, but of course, this being a video game, things do not go as planned.
Startropics is actually a pretty good game, even if a couple of elements are kind of questionable(at best) today. The controls actually work well, but they take a little getting used to. Or, at least, for me, they do. The story isn't terrible, but it definitely feels tacked on, like they made the game and then decided they wanted to give us a reason to go from island to island and explore tile based rooms in a very Zelda-esque fashion...although I don't recall any dungeons shaped like swastikas in this one.
