Still There is a puzzle-solving game where you, a bumbling idiot taking care of a space lighthouse have to solve mundane problems in the most frustratingly analog way. There's other stuff too, like the fact that we ran away from our past and the fact and the weird bad dreams and taking care of the lizard, but mostly it's the puzzles that make you feel like a dummy.
Maybe I'm projecting a bit.
Honestly there is a lot to like about Still There: the writing is great, the sound engineering's fab, the art is wonderful. The puzzles are, for me, hit and miss. I can't tell if my brain just isn't in the right spot, or if they're engineered to be as obtuse as I'm finding them. The fact that there are simplifications to the puzzles that you can choose to take sorta tells me that maybe it's not just me.
I am excited to see where the story goes with this. I have a feeling that Still There is going to be leaning hard into the feelings, and I am ready for it.
