Let's Play Streets of Rogue | Brand New Game! | Streets of Rogue 2018 Gameplay
1Hello and welcome to Episode 3 of Streets of Rogue! In this episode we play as the Shopkeeper as we attempt to beat the demo. Episode 3 goes a lot more swimmingly as we have a wider array of weapons. The Shopkeeper works his way through the mission by bartering and using money. Episode 3 also sees us clear the slums and handle radiation. Streets of Rogue is always trying to throw curve balls at you and enjoys killing you and Episode 3 is no exception.
Recently the game was Updated and new fe\atures were brought in!
Game Background:
Streets of Rogue is a Rogue like game at its core though and you will need to find weapons and items to survive. Each character in Streets of Rogue has their own unique abilities, stats, and starting gear. The Slum Dweller gains experience faster and can take more perks but doesn’t have any real starting gear. However, this is where the game shines as no character is unplayable and each character can beat the game. Missions can also be tackled in unique ways in Streets of Rogue and equipment can be purchased from vendors.
Gameplay:
Streets of Rogue is a top down brawler/shooter/Roguelike game where you control a character as they try to complete missions on each floor. Streets of Rage also has a unique pixel style artwork that lends itself greatly aesthetic wise. Streets of Rogue does have permadeath though so if a character dies you have to restart over from the beginning. Streets of rage also has fully destructible walls for each building and explosives can be used to destroy walls. Each character in Streets of Rogue also lends itself to different play styles such as stealth or guns blazing.
Music and Sound:
Streets of Rogue has a great sound effects especially when fighting enemies and punching. Each hit exudes a vibrant effect and really conveys the weight of each strike. This is especially noticable in Episode 1 when you hit another enemy. Streets of Rogue also has a pumping musical score that pumps you up and gets you ready to fight.
Streets of Rogue Features:
-Insane modifiers at the end of each set of floors (riots, robots, or bombs for example)
-Unique NPCs that have their own mindsets and goals
-Mission based structure
-Rogue elements and inventory management
-Unique characters
-Variety of melee and ranged weapons
